Today, we set off on a captivating exploration from Funchal to the charming village of Camacha, celebrated for its rich tradition of cane craftsmanship (vimes). After a brief yet fascinating stop to delve into this artisanal legacy, we ascend through picturesque landscapes to Poiso and then to Pico da Arieiro, Madeira’s second highest peak, where you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring panoramic vistas.
Our adventure continues as we head north to Faial, where a delectable lunch awaits, offering a taste of local flavors.
